This expansion board is designed to be used in conjunction with the Cypress PSoC Pioneer kits (CY8CKIT-040 and CY8CKIT-042). The CY8CKIT-024 CapSense proximity expansion board allows you to evaluate proximity sensing capabilities, including liquid tolerance, proximity wake-up, and gesture detection. This kit uses 5 proximity circuits. With the CY8CKIT-024 expansion board, Cypress can provide users with 3D gesture recognition function for capacitive proximity sensing detection. When connected to the CY8CKIT-040 or CY8CKIT-042 kit, the proximity sensing distance is about 100 mm. When the distance is 20 mm, it can detect horizontal and vertical posture liquid tolerance proximity sensing.
